FAQ

Q: How does your machine identify products?
HAHA smart fridge vending uses video recognition as the main driver and force-sensing assistance to identify the goods that consumers take. When the consumer swipes the card to open the door, the device starts recording the shopping video, closes the door to stop recording, and follows the entire shopping video to identify what product the user has picked up.

Q: Is your machine air cooling or direct cooling?
A: Our freezers are air-cooled. Our freezer provider is an Italian company, a European and American brand, with a history of more than 20 years. Air cooling is similar to the air conditioner at home and will not cause frost.

Q:How does it work?
A:The consumer swipes the card, opens the electromagnetic lock, and takes it away; after opening the door, the camera records the entire process. The camera’s visual recognition can determine the product the customer has taken and automatically deduct the fee from the consumer’s credit card.

Q: How to charge POS rates?
A:The monthly rental fee for a POS machine is US$10 per month, and the transaction fee varies gradually according to the amount of consumption, ranging from about 3% to 6%. Our POS machine is from PAX, which is used by many merchants, such as Disney. Merchants can negotiate transaction fees with the first order bank.

Q: What are the advantages of smart fridge vending?
A: Smart fridge vending offers a variety of advantages over traditional vending machines.
①It provides a wide range of product categories, including beverages, snacks, yogurt, fruits, and boxed meals. The technology allows for the sale of items that traditional vending machines cannot handle, such as glass-bottled sodas, fresh flowers, and small snacks in pouches, as users often purchase multiple items in a single transaction
②The average transaction value tends to be higher.
③With the inclusion of POS machines, customers can make purchases without the need for loose change, providing greater pricing flexibility. The interactive and user-friendly experience allows consumers to browse and select products similar to shopping in a supermarket.
④Additionally, a dedicated app enhances operational efficiency and reduces costs.

Q: Why do you use gravity assistance instead of pure gravity?
A: ① In the pure gravity solution, each cargo lane contains more gravity sensor modules, which may increase the likelihood of technical issues.
②Settlement errors and potential damage to merchandise may occur if consumers place items randomly or if the loader deviates from the template configuration.
③This solution has limitations on the variety of categories it can accommodate, restricting sales growth and creating a significant gap when compared to AI-enabled counters.
④The stability of gravity technology is not sufficient, leading to potential operational challenges.
