Announcement on Device Offline Issue
Thanks for your continued support of HAHA Vending. We truly appreciate your trust and want to keep you updated on the recent device offline issue.
Background:
Between May 5 and July 2, 2025, some of our POS devices experienced frequent offline issues:
1.The first issue appeared on May 5, and we fixed it within a few days.
2.From May 11 to June 29, a few devices continued to go offline frequently. Since it wasn’t a large-scale issue, it didn’t raise enough attention.
3.From June 29 to July 2, the offline issue became more widespread. We identified the root cause on the afternoon of July 2, arranged an immediate fix, and brought the situation under control within two hours.
Reason:
Our technical team confirmed that the issue came from compatibility problems between some suppliers’ SIM cards and the POS software, which affected the devices’ network connections.
Solutions:
1.We provided remote software upgrades for affected devices. The upgrade usually takes 5 to 10 minutes and has fixed most of the issues.
2.For devices where the upgrade didn’t work, we are offering free SIM card replacements.
Current Progress:
1.Most affected devices have now returned to normal operation.
2.We have set up a dedicated 24/7 technical support team to monitor, detect, and fix any similar issues in time.
Compensation:
1.For devices impacted between May 3 and July 2, 2025, we’ll waive two months of SaaS service fees and SIM card fees.
2.Our customer service team will proactively contact each device owner to explain the compensation details.
